10th Annual TDSB Parent Conference: Parent Involvement Makes a Difference.
Saturday, 19 November 2016, 8:00 am – 3:45 pm
Earl Haig Secondary School, 100 Princess Avenue, Toronto

The theme of the 2016 conference is Parents and Communities Partnering for Student Achievement. Presented by the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) and the TDSB Parent and Community Engagement Office, this free event will feature a keynote address by renowned author and speaker Jennifer Kolari, along with a wide range of workshops, networking opportunities, and information about TDSB programs and services.

REMINDER: HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER THIS FRIDAY!


The Parent Council Spooktacular Halloween Fundraiser is this Friday, October 28th from 3:30 to 5:00 in the gym.  There will be dancing, games, treats, a photo booth and a Haunted House!  A suggested $5 donation is appreciated.  Treats and games will cost $.25, $.50 and $1.00 so please being small change!  A collection bin will be set up for the Scare Away Hunger food drive, so please consider bringing non-perishable food items.  Support our school while enjoying a family-friendly party!  We hope you will attend.

We will also be collecting for the Scare Away Hunger Food Drive.

BIKE RALLY - GRADES 2 & 3

IRC students in Grades 2 & 3 are invited to participate in a  Bike Rally on Tuesday Oct.4th @ 9:00 a.m. in the schoolyard.

Grade 2 & 3 students will need to bring their bike to school in order to participate and are asked to please park their bicycle  in the bike racks at the front of the school or along the kindergarten fence.

Officer Eric will meet the participants in the yard to start the Bike Rally right after morning announcements.
