Registration is live for the 8th Annual Parent Involvement Makes a Difference Conference on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Earl Haig SS, 100 Princess Avenue from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm.
Keynote speaker J. Richard Gentry, PH. D., a former university professor and elementary school teacher and author of “Raising Confident Readers: How to Teach Your Child to Read and Write” will deliver the keynote on Raising Confident Readers from K-12.
Workshops will run throughout the day and include topics such as: Building Skills in Reading and Writing; Family Storytelling; French … helping your child to succeed; and many more. There will also be an information marketplace that will feature an array of community agencies.
