FOOD BANK DONATION DROP OFF - MONDAY DEC 11

Dear Parents and Me To We Club Members:

On Monday December 11^th, the 44 Me To We Club members will be leaving at 11:15 a.m. to deliver all the donated food items from our Open House. A big thank you to our community for donating 346 food items!  We will walk to the fire hall on Keele St.  & Ms. Fenton, Ms. Filan & Ms. Turna will supervise the walk to and back from the fire station.  The club members are looking forward to this opportunity to feel that they are involved and making a difference in our local community!

If your child normally goes home for lunch, we are asking parents to send a lunch with their child on this day. If your child would prefer to go home for lunch, participating in our annual visit to our local fire station is optional. Your child will eat their lunch when we get back from the station (at approx. 12:15 p.m.)

Please ensure that you send your child with 2 durable cloth reusable grocery bags on Monday.  Your child will get his/her bags back and each member will use their own bags brought to carry the food over. The remaining food items will be transported over in Ms. Fenton’s car.

IRC OPEN HOUSE - DEC 6TH

IRC MOVIE NIGHT - THURSDAY NOV 30th

PORTABLE UPDATE

We just received confirmation that the two portables will be removed from our IRC yard next week (at the earliest) but definitely before the end of November.

The work has just begun to prepare for their removal.   The fence has been peeled back today , the skirts and stairs have been removed also.  The electrical disconnection will follow.

Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause during the removal of the portables.  Please encourage children to stay away from the portable areas during this time.
